MAO SPACE
成立于2014年秋，「MAO空间」在上海首次展示其对当代艺术的理解，诠释和信心。由策划上海静安国际雕塑双年展等多次重要雕塑展览的罗浮紫团队创办，「MAO空间」对多种艺术形式的呈现极具主场优势和深刻理解，（我们）将深化与极具影响力的策展人和学者合作，通过呈现更具有代表性的当代艺术展览与活动，参与中国当代艺术的发生与发展; 同时介绍引进一部分国际艺术家来中国展览，积极建构艺术家与大众、艺术机构和市场之间有价值的交流平台。
Established in fall 2014, MAO SPACE landed a confident debut in Shanghai art scene over its interpretation and understanding of contemporary art. Founded by the team behind Jiang’An International Sculpture Biennale and numerous significant Sculpture Projects, the Purple Roof Team, MAO SPACE exhibits impeccable advantage and knowledge of an array of art forms. On one hand, MAO SPACE works with leading scholars and curators to shape representations of the contemporary Chinese art landscape by organizing dominant exhibitions and events. On the other, it brings foreign artists into China to build a platform that bridges art institutions, art markets and the public.
